This South Austin kitchen renovation transformed a dated layout into a high-functioning luxury chef’s kitchen. Working within the original footprint, we removed the passthrough wall to open the space to the dining room, added semi-custom cabinetry in mixed wood and paint finishes, and designed a custom range hood to complement the new BlueStar range. An oversized island with seating became the centerpiece, while a compact butler’s pantry was cleverly added beneath the stairs. The result is a thoughtfully maximized kitchen that blends elevated design with everyday practicality.
